Description
The Uptime Devices Sensor Hub is a compact device designed to monitor temperature, humidity, airflow, water, voltage, and contact closures and notify personnel when those conditions exceed user- defined limits.
The Sensor Hub, which takes up zero U rack space, is available in three models.
All the models have two sensor ports and ship with either one (SH-2 and SH-2 Plus I) or two sensors (SH-2 Plus). The models ship with one sensor allow the second sensor port to be used for another sensor: contact closure, water, voltage, airflow, temperature, humidity or combination temperature/humidity.

The Sensor Hub Controller has two sensor ports and ships with either:
- a temperature sensor (SH-2) or
- a temperature sensor and separate humidity sensor (SH-2+) or
- a combination sensor that detects temperature and humidity (SH-2+I)
Typical applications include:
- Monitoring hot and cold isles
- Cabinets to detect overheating
- Spot detectors to monitor sensitive or trouble areas in a computer room
- Monitor common (summary) alarm of a unit for network notification
