The KoldLok Wave was introduced in 2011 after a study was conducted by the Uptime Institute on 19 computer rooms totaling over 204,400ft². It was discovered that 60% of valuable cooled air was not reaching air intakes of IT equipment. In a leakage testing analysis, the KoldLok Wave provided the least leakage per comparable product in the market (SCFM/100 sq. in.). It was further determined the KoldLok Wave had the most usable area (CFM per 100 sq. in. of usable area). Tested and proven, the KoldLok Wave provides both the best seal against bypass airflow and most usable area.
Upsite currently has patents and patents pending for the KoldLok Wave throughout the world.
