Digital Extenders

Digital Extenders transfer the video data of a graphic card (VGA) as binary coded data ?not as an analogue signal. This prevents corruption of the signals on the transmission line. Signal quality is fully independent of the cable length up to the total distance limit.

The DDXi and DDXi/LC can be connected either on VGA or DVI. And, independently of the signal source, it is possible to connect a DVI or a VGA monitor.

The transfer is done by regular Cat5 or Fibre Cable. Up to the specific maximum distance of each cable there exists a optimum image quality:  DMXI up to 1280x1024 with 75 Hz and DDXi up to 1600x1200 (Fiber Devices optional up to 1920x1200) with 60 Hz.

DVI-Equalizer

Digital Equalizer for  DVI-Signals

  • DVI up to 1600x1200
  • DVI-Cable up to 40m (35m+5m)

The DVI Equalize allows to install a monitor up to 40m (35m + 5m) away from the graphic source. The signals, which are deformed by the cable, will be equalized, so that a optimum display on all DVI monitors is possible. The maximum distance of 40m is divided in max. 35m between graphic source and Equalizer and max.5m between Equalizer and monitor. Using distances longer than 20m we recommend the use of cables with exceptional low loss.

DVXi/LC

Digital DVI-KVM-Extender

  • DVI up to 1600x1200
  • PS2-Keyboard and PS2-Mouse or
    USB-Keyboard and USB-Maus
  • Catx-Cable up to 140m
  • Multi-mode fibre up to 400m
  • Single mode fibre up to 10km
  • with local access in local unit for alternating access local / remote
  • Option: Dualhead for dual graphic cards
  • (DVXi/ET for 1920x1200, please contact us)

Our new DVXi- Extender provides the DVI graphic interface (DVI-D) and, depending on the device version, either PS2- Keyboard/Mouse or USB Keyboard/Mouse (HDI ?Human Device Interface ?hereby includes also Touch screens, Tableaus and other pointing and input devices).

Using a highly effective Compression algorithm, the maximum data rate of the CatX transfer is used best. Even on highest resolutions (1600x1200) you'll get a comfortable working and a smooth picture movement on videos. Comparing to other devices, the maximum transfer distance does not depend on the screen resolution! Even in the highest resolution of 1600x1200 you can easily bridge 140m. Using Fibre cables, you can get the same features with extended distances: 400m on Multimode 50u or up to 10km  using Singlemode 9u

DDXi/LC

Digital DVI/VGA-KVM-Extender

  • VGA and DVI
  • PS2 Keyboard and PS2 Mouse
  • Catx cable up to 100m
  • Multi-mode fibre up to 400m
  • Single mode fibre up to 10km
  • with local access in local unit for alternating access local / remote

With the DDXi / DDXi/LC you have a KVM-Extender, which provides the high quality of the DVI interface. It can be installed all around where the PC is away from monitor, keyboard and other periphery devices. Therewith service and monitor are working without a loss of quality you need a Extender working like an amplifier. Fields of application are data processing centers, hospitals, industry, banks etc.

The distances may constitute up to 100 m using the Cat5 (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7) network cable. Using a single mode  fiber cable it is possible to install the PC more than 10Km away from the periphery devices. At a resolution up to 1920 x 1200 you achieve also the best transmission quality. Extension ports in the devices allow the link of further periphery devices like Video, Audio etc.
