DVI-Extender over fibre cable up to 500m

DVI-Extension up to 500m economically and at the highest quality using Opticis M1-201 products. The modules consist of a transmitter (850nm 4 VCSEL array) and a receiver (4 Pin-PDs array) and are supplied with two AC adaptors (110-240V to 5VDC, 600mA). The products support resolutions up to UXGA (1600x1200) with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
Graphic TMDS signals are extensible up to the limits of the modal bandwidth of selected multi-mode glass fibers: 50/125 um or 62.5/125um. Cables attach to the unit using LC ferrules. The M1-201 implements a virtual DDC function, a unique Opticis feature that allows the EDID parameters, factory-programmed in the transmitter housing, to be sent to the video card at start-up.
With these products you can overcome the limitations of copper wire extension without using distribution amplifiers or repeaters. Additionally, you have the advantage that the PC is isolated electrically from the monitor.
