Rosengrens Multi Range Fireproof and Security Safes, offer the maximum security against fire, theft, break-ins, humidity, smoke gases and magnetic fields. The MultiData range are tested and certified to VDMA 24991, which guarantees that the media storage will withstand fire. The MultiDoc range, guarantees the same protection for documents and the MultiSec range, for maximum security against theft.

The amount of information stored on data media worldwide is more than doubling every two years. The information is more sensitive to store as it is increasingly compacted. A standard DVD today can store seven times as much information as a standard CD three years ago.
Bearing all this in mind, we have now developed the 5th generation data media cabinet under the collective name Polaris. The name Rosengrens not only guarantees 150 years of experience in security solutions. They were also the pioneers, and they set the standards in the 1970s for secure storage of data media. We have now taken a further step forward in protecting the data media of today and tomorrow in the best way conceivable. The optimum security solution has to be easy and effective to work with day to day, hold as much as possible, be lightweight, take up little space and harmonise with its surroundings, while at the same time offering maximum protection against fire, humidity, smoke gases and magnetic fields. The key is our effective insulation material which enables us to have the thinnest walls ever in a data media cabinet, while retaining the ability to withstand temperatures of just over 1,000oC.

Polaris new data media cabinets form a complete range in five different sizes,from 100 to 600 litres in volume.The sizes are logically sructured to hold the maximum number of CDs magnetic tapes,etc. with the flexibility to adapt the interior fittings ensures that different sizes and types of data media can be mixed and stored efficiently

High security Locks

Polaris is delivered with resettable RKL-10 key lock as standard. A high-security lock which is easy to reset for new keys.There are available Key locks,combination locks, various levels of electronic locks, anything is possible. Even dual locking, which enable customers to increase the security surrounding confidential material as two people are needed to open and lock the cabinet.

The most demanding norm of the world

Polaris fulfils the fire protection requirements of the most demanding norm: European Norm EN 1047-1(old VDMA)certified by ECB-S for 120 minutes of fire resistance, S120 DIS. To fulfil this norm, the new data media cabinets have to withstand a temperature of just over 1,000oC,test, followed by a drop test of over nine metres .Polaris too has been certificated by American UL 72 for two hours of fire resistance, Class 125 2H fire and impact.
